3. Costa Toscana Immigration Formalities for cruises the Arabian Gulf

When checking in for embarkation at the cruise terminal, the Meet&Greet staff will collect all passports so that the dedicated on-board staff can carry out all Immigration procedures on each port of call of the itinerary, without Guest’s presence being required.

Documents for visiting Dubai vary according to country of nationality and residence.

Please note that all Clients’ passport must have a residual validity of at least 6 months from the starting date of their trip.

In case of shore visits in each port of call along the itinerary, Guests will only need to carry the Costa card, which will be given upon embarkation.

According to the regulations of the UAE Immigration Authorities, upon arrival at Dubai Port on Friday all Guests, adults, and children, will be subject to individual Immigration control and passport verification. All Guests, without exception and regardless of their disembarkation day, must follow this procedure, which is mandatory.

To carry out such control, we would like to remind you that:

  • Guests embarking in the ports of Dubai and Abu Dhabi will collect their passports directly on board ship on the morning of arrival in Dubai on Friday. After the immigration check in the cruise terminal, all Guests will keep their passports with them.
  • Guests embarking in the ports of Doha and Muscat will collect their passports directly in the cruise terminal. After the Immigration control, passports will be collected again and returned on the day of disembarkation.

Further details will be provided during the cruise through a dedicated letter, delivered directly to the cabins.
